10 TIPS ON BEING MINDFUL!

In short, What is mindfulness about?

Mindfulness allows you to be aware of your thoughts / feelings without judgement , bringing your attention to your breath and stand back from your thoughts to see their patterns.

It is about being in the present.

1. Start your day with a purpose/ goal

2. Be in the now. Live in the present moment

3. Acknowledging thoughts and recognising them for what they really are.

Rational /irrational/ true or false

4. Positive affirmations to self

5. Exercise that works for you

6. Doing what you love the most. Make time for it in your day or week, no excuses!

7. Surrounding yourself with people that uplift you,

giving you energy, strength and hope

8. Manage your time effectively

9. Flipping a negative thought on its head- positive alternative?
